Username: Evie is a graphic novel by Joe Sugg ( ThatcherJoe on youtube). The story tells of Evie, a social outcast, bullied by her cousin. All she wants is a place to escape the world in which she is. One day she finds, on her fathers laptop, a world that he created for her. It is a peaceful and tranquil place, a true wonder.However whether things stay like that, is up to Evie.
This is the first graphic novel I have ever read and can i just say that I'm thoroughly impressed. The illustrations were absolutely beautiful, the story interesting and the character of Evie was relate-able. I decided to buy this mainly because i do like Joe Sugg's youtube channel, but also because I wanted to branch out and discover a graphic novel for the first time.
I enjoyed the experience and am glad I did.
I would rate this 9 and a half / 10 stars.
