The fault in our stars by John Green follows Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. Hazel is suffering with terminal cancer and is forced to go to a support group for teens with cancer. It's there she meets Augustus, an amputee who survived cancer. The story follows a journey the two of then have together because of the book " An imperial Affliction ".
As the first John Green book I had ever read i didn't quite know what to expect. It had been recommended to me by a friend and i wasn't sure as to whether it would be the book for me. However I read it and was pleasantly surprised. The character development is wonderful and the realness and beauty of it are amazing.
I would recommend this book greatly as it is influential and beautiful.
I rate this a 9/10
